Go Ahead. Make My Stay

The Shoalhaven region on New South Wales South Coast captures everything to love about this lucky country of ours. Enjoy everything from the miles of untouched golden shores and crystal-clear waterways, to friendly towns and villages, with delicious local food and wine, and a breathtaking natural backdrop.
Woven throughout this beautiful region, you will find 12 Holiday Haven parks – ready to make your stay as comfortable and carefree as possible. From the first greeting to our ‘see you next time’ wave, our team will look after you with modern facilities and local attractions at your doorstep. You’ll be lucky to find any better!
Two locations to add to your must-see list are Currarong and Swan Lake.
Holiday Haven Currarong
Looking for a holiday destination with all the natural beauty the NSW South Coast has to offer but allows you to easily experience a little more than the average Aussie caravan park holiday? Then Holiday Haven Currarong is right up there.
This pristine Holiday Park is situated in a small coastal fishing village located on the northern edge of the Jervis Bay Marine Park. Set amongst the creek and beach it has all the cool things you’d expect from holiday parks these days like a splash pad, jumping pillow and playground. But like all Holiday Haven parks, Currarong adds just that little bit extra: the intangibles like their exceptional customer service, and the tangibles like on site mini golf and their exceptional pool which was awarded first place in the commercial pool awards when it was built just a few years ago.
It doesn’t stop there though; each month Holiday Haven Currarong hosts a wonderful Art Trail where you can take a walk around the village and visit local artist studios. The trail wanders straight through the park showcasing all the creative treasures of local artists in the area. Be sure to make a stop at the on-site food truck “The Little Shop Currarong” for locally sourced farm to cup coffee and baked treats.
Every March the park hosts a fabulous retro event called Vintage Weekend, where all the vintage caravans come together to show off their beautifully restored nostalgia. Like minded enthusiasts share tales about their treasured tiny homes on wheels and bond over the “van life”. In May Holiday Haven Currarong also hosts a Senior’s Week where you can meet new friends at the park and enjoy wonderful organised adventures. End the day warming up and relaxing around the parks communal fire pit while debriefing on the day’s fun activities.
Currarong’s location makes a great base to explore some of the nearby wonders, both natural and manmade. Catch a stunning sunset at Point Perpendicular Lighthouse situated on the ever-impressive sheer cliffs of Beecroft Peninsula. Or you can head north and take a dolphin/whale watching cruise or dive to see the stunning marine life. Enjoy the sunrise as you stroll along the squeaky white sands of Jervis Bay. There’s so much to see and do that you’ll definitely want to extend your stay.
Holiday Haven Swan Lake
If there’s a place that can offer both adrenalin-fueled fun and complete peace and tranquillity then Holiday Haven Swan Lake has you covered. This pretty lake with crystal clear water is perfect for water skiing, wakeboarding, stand-up paddle boarding, jet skiing, kayaking…in fact, you name it as far as water sports go!
Close to the beach, it’s a popular spot for fishing and a great surf break to get your shakers on or just enjoy watching some locals carve it up! If that doesn’t take your fancy then from May – November you may prefer to spot the whales migrating along what is affectionately known as the “Humpback Highway”. The migration channel runs along the east coast, supporting some 30,000 humpback whales. It’s especially exciting when they head south with their bubba’s in tow as you’re sure to see some playful moments – make sure the camera is at the ready!
Nestled in the National Park, leisurely bush walks are simply a must while you’re here. But if nature or water sports aren’t really your thing then there are some great boutiques, cafes and restaurants nearby to fill your gestational needs.
The park itself offers a range of accommodation options for camping, caravanning and cabin holidays. You can even arrive by seaplane if you like!
