It's Not Just a Holiday...It's an Experience
Seniors Ski Tours are uniquely redefining group ski tours for the over 50s. These tours are where adventure meets comfort in the Canadian ski resorts of British Columbia. If you’re keen to hit the slopes but don’t know where to find the right balance of excitement and comfort, then these are the tours for you. Treat yourself to the best snow the Canadian slopes have to offer.
This is an amazing opportunity to join other over 50s skiers on a fabulous holiday. Whether you are travelling alone, with a partner or with friends, you will find the experience inclusive and welcoming.
These ski tours are fully escorted by friendly and experienced Tour Leaders and are designed for the young at heart.
Comfort and Convenience
Seniors Ski Tours are uniquely focussed on the Over 50s. Comfort and convenience are prioritised. You will enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere in the comfort of luxurious accommodation options, ranging from studio rooms to one- and two-bedroom condos. Even if you decide to share a condo, you will always have your own bedroom and bathroom.
Sick and tired of unreliable snow, long queues and lots of gear carrying? No problems there as all accommodation options are located in true ski-in/ski-out locations, where you enjoy just a short walk to some great dining options.
Guided Skiing
Lots of questions come to mind when considering an overseas ski trip.
Will the snow be good, do I need to be a good skier, is a group tour a good idea or, the big one…am I too old to go skiing?
The wonderful Canadian snow is more reliable and easier to ski than you might imagine. We’re sure that the world-class Canadian resorts will blow your socks off! Come find out what enjoyable skiing is actually all about.
Skiing with a small group has some wonderful advantages. Your Tour Leaders will ensure that you ski on the runs that are most suited to the day’s conditions and your ski level of experience while taking you on memorable skiing experiences. You can ski and socialise with other like-minded people, make some new friends and explore the mountains together.
Just remember that you don’t stop skiing when you get old. You get old when you stop skiing.
A Typical Day on Tour
The tour day starts with the “Daily Blurb”. This is an email delivered each morning at 7am. It contains details about expected weather and snow conditions, plans for the day’s skiing as well as social plans for the evening and any special announcements. The group skiing during the day will explore all the fantastic runs that the mountain has to offer. Morning tea and lunch breaks offer an opportunity to re-fuel and recharge.
After skiing each day, catch up with the group – tell a few stories, have a few laughs before heading off for dinner. You might want to check out one of the lovely restaurants with some of the group or eat in, it’s entirely up to you.
Each weekend the group moves on to another resort, exploring the local area and the lovely countryside. So, what are you waiting for? Don’t delay…book the trip of a lifetime today!
