Restore Your Smile With All-On 4
Experience a complete turn-around in self-confidence.
All on 4 dental implants are an innovative and increasingly popular procedure whereby an entire set of broken down, loose, painful or missing teeth are replaced with a new set of fixed teeth. The new teeth are supported by just four dental implants, which are inserted into the jaw bone.
An All on 4 replaces an entire arch of teeth (upper or lower) with four dental implants and a fixed bridge. If you need the upper and lower teeth replaced, there will be eight dental implants and two bridges. Before All on 4, we used six to ten implants per arch of teeth and usually with a large amount of bone and gum grafting.
All on 4 utilizes the bedrock bone in front of the sinuses in the upper jaw and in front of the dental nerves in the lower jaw. Bone grows into the implants allowing them to be fixed and able to support teeth. The back implants are angled which means we use the good bone in the front part of the jaws. This angulation also allows the top of the implant to be in line with the position of a first molar, meaning we can replace 12 teeth (first molar to first molar) with just 4 implants and no bone grafting.
The experienced surgeons at the Sydney Implant Institute can conduct a thorough examination to determine the best course of treatment for you.
STEP 1: Complimentary Consultation: This step involves a comprehensive evaluation, Including a 3D CBCT Xray, a review of your medical history and an in-depth discussion regarding the treatment proposed to you, the steps involved and to answer any questions or concerns you may have, We will also discuss various financial options with you and present to you a personalised treatment plan catered to you.
STEP 2: Aesthetic Measurements & Workup: At this stage, we undertake digital and surgical planning and measurements. Intraoral scanning is performed to create surgical guides. Extraoral and intraoral photos are taken, and shades and shapes for the bridge are discussed.
STEP 3: All-on-Four Surgery: This involves the removal of any remaining teeth, alveoplasty (reshaping of the jawbone), placement of implants, and taking impressions for the bridges.
STEP 4: Bridge Insertion: Two days post-surgery, our highly skilled in-house technicians will have crafted your bespoke bridges, which will then be issued to you.
STEP 5: Post-Surgery Two-Week Review: This includes suture removal, cleaning instructions, and a general review to ensure everything is healing properly.
