Retiring to Redcliffe

Claiming the title of Queensland’s first European colony back in 1824, Redcliffe has maintained its popularity as a seaside resort for over one hundred years. With more than twenty percent of the population aged 65+, Redcliffe certainly knows how to cater to retirees.
Attractions Galore!

There is so much to see and do in Redcliffe that you won’t be able to stop yourself from venturing out on an adventure every day. Take the sting out of the day with a dip in the water at Suttons Beach; its crystal clear water presenting a postcard-perfect image. Stroll or bike along the shared path that runs along the coastline, with space enough for wheelchairs so no one is left out. Redcliffe Museum’s vibrant display is open six days a week, giving a dedicated insight into the character and identity of the Peninsula. There is also the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens (a must-see for nature-lovers), and Redcliffe Showgrounds, site of the annual Redcliffe Show in June.
